What is Distinctive Aperture?

Distinctive Aperture is a collection of unique spaces for rent by the hour or day. Ideal for creators, brands, photographers, and filmmakers - our unique spaces are curated with content creators in mind.

Where are your spaces located?

Our spaces are all located in the Geneva Lake area of Wisconsin. One hour north of ORD and one hour south of MKE. This area is known as the "Hamptons of the Midwest" or "Newport of the Midwest".

What can your spaces be used for?

Photo shoots, video shoots, content days, commercial filming, brand sessions, social media reels, headshots, and more... If you are unsure if your use fits, please contact us.

How do I book space?

You can inquire directly by using our Bookings Inquiry form. The availability of our spaces varies greatly based the season.

What's included in the rental?

Each location is clean and ready to shoot. Furniture and decor are included. Some locations have full kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor areas - review individual location listings for details.

Can I bring my own props?

Absolutely ~ Withing Reason! Please let us know at the time of booking if you'll be bringing props and what you'll be bringing. Depending on your plans, it may require additional planning and/or cleaning expense.

Do you require a security deposit?

We do not require a security deposit for standard bookings, but we do have a rental agreement and may request a deposit that is applied to the balance on your invoice. For large productions, there may be a refundable deposit required.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer flexible cancellation within a set window. Policies may vary slightly based on the booking, timing, and location.

Do you allow events at your locations?

The answer to that is not as easy, so it's a "maybe". Contact us to discuss.

I need to scout multiple locations for content creation in the area - can you help?

We probably can, we know the area very well . Let us know what else you are looking for and we will make some recommendations to help.
